About Ms. Vee
Veronica "Ms. Vee" Thornton is a visionary leader, published author, and dynamic consultant with over a decade of experience at the intersection of community development, the arts, and organizational growth. As the founder of Vee’s Consulting, she delivers Viable, Effective, and Efficient (VEE) solutions that empower creative small businesses, nonprofits, and grassroots initiatives.
Ms. Vee’s impact spans from designing and leading arts-based community engagement campaigns to managing major projects like the American Rescue Plan for the Arts (ARPA) and Arts & Economic Prosperity 6 (AEP6) in partnership with Americans for the Arts. She has worked with respected organizations including Assembly for the Arts, Neighborhood Leadership Cleveland, Creative Healing Foundation, and more.
With 10+ years of leadership and management experience including grant administration, program design, and team oversight Ms. Vee brings both strategic insight and lived experience to her work. Her advocacy is deeply rooted in equity, mental health, and the power of creativity as a tool for healing and systems change.
